Meet Rachel

Hello!
My name is Rachel, and I am an enthusiastic and dedicated educator currently employed at Leppington Anglican College. With a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning, I regularly teach Kindergarten and Stage 3 English, ensuring that my students receive a strong foundation in literacy and critical thinking skills.

I am currently completing a postgraduate degree in Education, proudly maintaining a distinction average. My academic journey has equipped me with advanced knowledge and innovative teaching strategies that I bring into the classroom every day.

Specialising in English, I hold a certificate in THRASS (Teaching Handwriting, Reading, and Spelling Skills), which allows me to provide targeted and effective literacy instruction. Additionally, I have completed a certificate in Concept-Based Inquiry Instruction, enabling me to create engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to explore and understand complex ideas.

With a blend of experience, specialised training, and a genuine passion for education, I am dedicated to helping primary-aged students achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong love for learning.
